So does the stadium change names for each season? It's Landshark Stadium and not Dolphin Stadium for the Marlins. -

The Miami Dolphins have a new naming rights deal with Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and Anheuser-Busch InBev's joint brewing project, Land Shark Lager, which renamed the facility "Land Shark Stadium". The sponsorship deal is reportedly for eight months and the name will revert to Dolphin Stadium in time for Super Bowl XLIV and the 2010 Pro Bowl, possibly to be replaced by another sponsor name if a deal can be secured before that time
Don't confuse hope for a plan. -

Just found this on NFL.com: Dolphins' home renamed Land Shark Stadium in deal with singer Buffett
Ross said the agreement to change the name from Dolphin Stadium is for this season only and expires before the stadium plays host to the Super Bowl in February.

Vikes and Chargers because I picked them in the preseason to go to the superbowl.
Remember that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

Re: What 2 teams will play in the Superbowl?
I'm thinking maybe the Vikings and Indy, but should be a good game whoever gets there.

Homer pick for the Packers, Chargers for the AFC.

You Viking and Packer fans better put the kool-aid down!

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
Re: What 2 teams will play in the Superbowl?
I got the Vikings and Chargers. Not a team in the NFL right now hotter than the Chargers, and I think it will be Cowboys and Vikings in the NFC Championship game, and I'll take home field there.

If the Cowboys win this weekend, they play the Vikings in the divisional round. They cannot meet in the championship game.

None the less, I do feel like the Saints will go down in the divisional round, which will give the Vikings home field advantage in the NFC Championship game. They showed me enough yesterday to know the have not folded yet.

Re: What 2 teams will play in the Superbowl?
I posted this in another thread yesterday, works well here for the NFC side of things:
I really think any of the 6 teams have a shot to make a run to the Superbowl. If I had to rank the teams I'd go with 5 teams tied at #1, and the Cardinals at the #6.
NO- Can't ignore the offensive fire power. Defense has some injuries now.
MN- Playing at least one game at the Dome is huge. Will need to run the ball to put away games because ANY of the NFC teams should be able to throw on them if they protect the QB.
Dallas- Playing hot and with confidence on both sides of the ball.
AZ- Just don't know which team will show up, but can't ignore Warner and 3 stud WRs.
GB- See Dallas, won last 7 of 8 with only loss coming to a desperate Steelers team. Weak spot is their nickel D. Blitzes have to work to win.
Philly- Big play ability. Been in these spots before.

The Pack and the Chargers. AFC doesn't really matter as long as my Packers are there.

Re: What 2 teams will play in the Superbowl?
honestly I wouldn't be suprised to see the packers colts.. yes I am a apackers fan but they are playing well right now and Rodgers is really clicking
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: What 2 teams will play in the Superbowl?
As a Vikings fan, I hope they make it, but being a Vikings fan is kind of like being a Cyclone fan. You just get this eerie feeling that fate is going to kick you in the junk. Therefore I picked the Cowboys and the Chargers. I think Indy lost momentum the last few games and will not be as up for the game as they should be.
