ok, gents. Let's actually post words, rather than just emoticons.
Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
I'll pretty much cheer for Kurt Warner every time. This Pack team is good, and Rodgers is going to have a really nice career, but Warner's my favorite right now.
I'm also glad to see that the curse of the Super Bowl loser isn't happening this year. Did it somehow help the Cards cause that they lost a shootout instead of being outmatched?
Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
Rodgers got facemasked on that last play and taken to the ground. Was a missed call that should have resulted in a 15 yard and first down for the Pack on the 40.
Bad bad call. Cost the Packers the game.

agree. The transformation of the Arizona Cardinals in the last two years is nothing short of amazing.

Their defense cost them the game.

Really hope Kurt doesn't retire, playing at the level he is. Would be a shame not to see him play.
Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
heck my Vikes will take Kurt next year if Favre leaves.

I read it on my Packers board, turned back the DVR and he got the facemask grabbed, fumbled, and then his head turned and taken to the ground all the time with a full hand completely clamped to his facemask. Not sure if it created the fumble, but it was still a 15 yard personal foul on the Cards.
With that said, the Packers D lost the game. But that call would have gave the Packers a first down.
I think it will be on ESPN for sure as it very clear to see and they'll talk about it.
Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
I'm actually not sure what the correct call there is because the fumble clearly happened before his hand hit the facemask. So I don't think it can be a facemask call but instead an illegal hands to the face. The thing I don't know is how they would handle the change of the possession with it being after the fumble occurred, is it based on when the ball changes possesion (recovery) or when the loss of possesion occured?

The ball would change possession and it would be spot of penalty.
Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
Dammit. Got pulled away at the start of the 4th. Looks like I missed a helluva finish, probably for the best, I'd be all ****** off now.
Not having Al Harris really cost this team down the stretch. Tramon Williams is just not going to cut it. Hopefully Thompson learned his lesson about aging veterans with the OT's.
Go draft a tackle and cornerback, next year's going to be fun.

Doesn't matter, don't bring logic into it.
Just let them have those Packer tears flow.
Love seeing them done in by an Iowa boy.

I think the holding penalty cost them the game. And maybe turning the ball over twice in your first 3 or 4 PLAYS doesn't help.
