Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
yeah, the Pack didn't lose the game because of a call, or no call. It was Defense. The game certainly could've gone either way, but hey... in the end, Green Bay... shouldn't have let Favre go. You all wouldn't be having this convo.

It would have been another 5 or 6 interception playoff blowout, because when he gets down, he forces it more.

I love how the bold completely contradicts the italics. When did Brett start playing defense?
And I'll call BS on that last sentence. Rodgers, outside of the first play and the fumble (and even Lord Favre himself was prone to those), played a masterful game.
I would 1000 times over have Rodgers for the next 10 years rather than Favre for one or two, and then a QB search. I said it when he retired, and I'm saying it now.

And I'm willing to bet the Pack is better set at the position than the Vikings are for the future.

Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
Ya the Pack lost and it was tough to watch, but they were down 21 points in a hostile environment and came back.......wow thats amazing itself. And who propelled them to come back?????? Oh yeah Aaron Rodgers! over 420 yards breaks a packers record for the playoffs. This team has some true character and i cant wait for Ted Thompson to draft some depth in the o-line and in the secondary.....watch out next year the pack are coming ****** off for losing in the playoffs and losing to favre twice. Team to beat next year in the NFC North.....

Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
This thread carried on by some bandwagon Viking fans is a complete joke. It's going to make it all the more fun to watch them choke as usual.
Helluva comeback from the start of the season by this team. Helluva comeback by the offense in a road playoff game when it looked like the defense was playing with 8-9 players the entire game. This one hurts, but a lot to look forward to from this team in the near future.

Re: Anyone else hope Green Bay gets beat today?
That was a great game...
I think the future is really bright for the Packers. A young defensive line and a young quarterback. Get a few Offensive Lineman and a good running back and they are going to be a formidable team for quite some time.
Hated to see them lose, but Kurt Warner is in the twilight of his career and is playing great. That's a feel good story that is hard to not like.
