The agent for Kurt Warner told ESPN's Adam Schefter that his client will decide on whether to keep playing within 2-3 weeks.
Schefter adds that the same people who informed him Warner planned to retire before the playoffs are still expecting the 38-year-old passer to hang up his cleats. Warner's salary is only $4 million in 2010. He received $19 million last season after signing a severely front-loaded $23 million contract.

Ah, such is the life of a kicker. Miss one field goal during the entire regular season, then have a couple bad games in the playoffs and people say you shouldn't be in the league.

I'm not a Warner fan but I hope the guy sticks around. He's still playing really well, can you imagine the wasteland that division will turn into if he goes. I'm not as convinced as some that Leinert is a lost cause, yesterday was an no win situation for him to come into.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan.

ESPN - Kurt Warner continues to contemplate retirement as he recovers from another NFL season.
"This is the sorest I've ever been," says Warner.
Warner was asked what his wife meant that his decision on whether or not to retire is between himself and God.
"It means I pray that God takes away the desire in me to play this game," he says. "I've loved it for so long. I need Him to take that away from me, so that I can be comfortable with this decision
