Vikings Radio Announcers Do Little To Hide Their Anger

Re: Vikings Radio Announcers Do Little To Hide Their Anger
I can't listen to it....what are they angry about?

Re: Vikings Radio Announcers Do Little To Hide Their Anger
Well then they are idiots too. That INT meant nothing. The game was going to OT regardless after the Vikings decided to run, run, penalty. Favre had to make a play. The play got picked. Didn't cost them the game and anybody who thinks it did is short sighted

I couldn't sleep last night. I'm still brewing over it now. Not sure I will ever get over it.

Didn't cost them the game and anybody who thinks it did is short sighted Had Farve held onto it and ran, he probably could have made it damn close to the 30-35 yard line, setting them up for about a 50 yard field goal, which is well within Longwells range. Yes there are other plays that led to the situation, but Farve had the game in his hand with 30 seconds left and he ****** it down his leg.

I believe Farv-ra could have ran 5 yards if not 8 - 10 and set the Vikes up in decent field goal range. He may have ran for it if he wasn't so banged up and sore. The Saints strategy of bringing the pain worked.....
I was surprised the Vikes didn't blitz more to put the heat on Brees

It would have been a 55 or 56 yarder. Not a 50. And yes Hutchinson should have called for tails. it never fails Originally Posted by chuckd4735 Had Farve held onto it and ran, he probably could have made it damn close to the 30-35 yard line, setting them up for about a 50 yard field goal, which is well within Longwells range. I've watched the replay a dozen times. Favre could have gotten 2 yards on that play if he would have run it. Tops

Viking fans can ***** about this one play for years but without #4 this year, you are no where close to making it to the NFC championship game.

Re: Vikings Radio Announcers Do Little To Hide Their Anger
It's kind of hilarious to see the Vikings fans turn on the only reason they were in the NFC Championship anyway. Without Favre and the **** poor way the Vikings ran the ball in the 2nd half of the season the Vikes would've been at best 10-6 and probably lose in the wildcard round.
Kind of reminds me of the ISU/Iowa NIT game. Vroman misses a free throw and for some dumb reason tackles the Iowa player who gets the rebound. Iowa player in turn wins the game at the line for the Hawks. A lot of cyclone fans hopped on Vroman for doing something so stupid but Vroman really was the only reason ISU was still in the game anyway, so it wasn't really appropriate to pile on him about it.
