Could the Clippers really be looking at Isiah Thomas to be next coach?
Isiah Thomas has emerged as a candidate to run the Clippers, a source has told FOX Sports.
The Clippers have reached out to Thomas to take over as coach, general manager and president, according to a source close to the situation.
Mike Dunleavy was revealed of his coaching duties earlier this week, but he remains the general manager.
Thomas, the former coach of the Pacers and Knicks, is currently coaching at Florida International University.
Ramona Shelburne of ESPNLosAngeles.com asked the Clippers for comment and Tweeted the following:
"Just checked with Clippers brass on the report about Isiah and got an ALL CAPS denial," wrote Shelburne.

I can't wait to read Bill Simmons' piece if this actually happens.

I can't imagine it would be more harsh than what he has done to Dunleavy. The think is he is spot on with him. He also called Blake Griffins injury before he was drafted. Mark my word, someday, Bill Simmons will be running an NBA team. The guy is basketball smart IMO.
