Tornado - what is the best local dirt track in the Ames area? I'm moving to Ames in May and need a go to track. I've been to Boone before and am not crazy about IMCA at all. Knoxville would be ideal but that is a pretty good haul. How is Marshalltown?
You want to see my North Dakota buddy (Donny Schatz) in the Spints don't you....?
This is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. I am a racing junkie.
My favorite driver is Elliot Sadler but he never wins...I'll take either Kurt Busch or Mark Martin today. Hopefully Martin.
I like Sadler as well mainly because he's part of the Petty team. Right now the drivers for Petty team, Sadler, Allmendinger, and Kahne, are looking pretty good. Maybe Sadler finally pulls it out. Can't help but like Allmendinger for two reasons....he goes by A.J. (for all those that remember A.J. Foyt) and he gets to use the number 43.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

That would be incredible. I'd probably tear up. He's been my favorite since his rookie season. Obviously, we've hit a few rough spots along the way.
wow...this track repair is taking a lot longer than I expected. I hate that the drivers are just sitting around. Hopefully they can get this thing fired up shortly!

Maybe they can show the gals who kiss the winners. Maybe interview them. Anything to fill the delay time. Heck, I am watching Olympics cross country waiting for the pothole to be patched.
