MLB Division Realignment
Ken Rosenthal proposes 3 different scenarios for realignment. Scroll to bottom of article to see all 3. As a Twins fan, I'd be all for the Radical one. But the Modest one and the Revenue one, no way. I want no part of the Red Sox or the Cards!! Some proposals for baseball realignment - MLB News - FOX Sports on MSN -

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving. -
Re: MLB Division Realignment
How about they get rid of the DH first.

Re: MLB Division Realignment
All of those are just completely stupid.

Re: MLB Division Realignment
Why would you put the cubs and White Sox in the same division as proposed in one case? That would kinda defeat the purpose of having two teams in the same city.

Also, the proposed radical AL Atlantic is still just a 2-team division.

I know that it's a rough map, but his geography/team placement skills need some work.
On topic though, I say leave the divisions alone.

Re: MLB Division Realignment
Rays had one lucky run and then the Yanks decided they better go spend another bazillion and ended that. Speaking of which......do the Yankees even have farm teams? And if so, what do they use those teams for? Grooming future trade bait perhaps?

Re: MLB Division Realignment
I'd be all for the radical realignment. Sox would compete with Cardinals most years and then the Cubs and Brewers would compete every once in a while. Sorry Royals fans, I don't see anything changing for you guys no matter what.

Might as well screw everybody and put one of them in the National League.

Re: MLB Division Realignment
I think MLB should have a salary cap and revenue sharing like the NFL does. I'm also probably in the minority on that.

Re: MLB Division Realignment
Not only did he introduce a conference realignment when nobody even suggests doing so, but he also created new teams. What an embarrassing piece from a professional sports writer.

The Yankees and Red Sox will see to that never happening. I would hope you aren't in the minority, but it seems like no one in baseball cares to change things.
