Twins Tuesday Night Game
I noticed a lot of comments here about the Iowa TV coverage of the Twins game last night......just be glad you don't live on the West coast!
Anyway......tonight's game is on MLB Network, at least here on the West coast......I would assume that is a national broadcast, but maybe not. Anyway......if you have MLB network on your satellite, cable, or whatever system, you might want to check it out. Might be an alternative for tonight anyway.
Another thing I really like about MLB network is that if you watch their MLB Tonight show, they are always doing live look-ins at all the games, so quite honestly, you can see all the "action" in the Twins games, or any other games that way.

MLB Tonight is what Baseball Tonight used to be. I'm glad I have Directv.

In Iowa, tonight's game will be on FS North and blacked out on MLB Network.

Re: Twins Tuesday Night Game
On DirecTV it will likely be blacked out of MLB Network in Iowa. You'll likely need the $10 sports pack and then tune into ch 668.

Re: Twins Tuesday Night Game
MLB Tonight blows Baseball tonight out of the water. Now that they have Reynlolds and Gammons it is not even close. Their Opening day special yesterday was awesome. I probably watched it off and on for almost 8 hours.
Tarheel-I've never heard that about the sports pack.

Re: Twins Tuesday Night Game
For people like me who don't get the game on any channel, after about a half hour of searching, I found a free live stream of the Twins-Angels game. PismoBeach.Ca - TV Channels -
Re: Twins Tuesday Night Game
Also, free MLB Extra Innings preview on all available providers through Sunday. Catch any and all games.

On directv, the local games are blacked out, even on the extra innings channels. I wanted to watch the Brewers game, but it was blacked out on both feeds, and the Twins game is blacked out on both feeds. It seems like you have to get the Sports Pack to get FSN North and FSN Midwest, and EI if you want to watch any games out of your market.
However, it does appear that Twins/Angels will not be blacked out on MLBN, because the blackout would have gone into effect when the game started.

But if you are considered to be 'in market' for that team, you will need the appropriate FSN to get the feeds. If you are 'out of market', the Extra Innings package is what you need because just getting the FSN Sports Pack will not work.

The Twins and Brewers are considered local, so I don't need EI to get those games. By ordering the sports pack, I'll get those FSN feeds.
Amazing...as soon as MLBN switches over to Twins/Angels, it blacks out. Oh well.
