About time.
Just a phenomenal game. Innings like those keep me coming back.
What I liked is that everyone in the dugout was on the same page. They even got Bobby Cox to go into the tunnel. Awesome game
Meh it was ok.
Wow...this is incredible. Brewers did this last year and get chastised for it and the bowling pin celebration. People got mad that they were pre-planning their celebrations.
Saw something similar at a Memphis Redbirds game when a kid hit his first HR in triple A. They couldn't all bail for the clubhouse since it was a middle inning, but they just sat in the dugout and nobody said a word to the kid for the rest of the inning. Didn't even get high-fives from the base coaches.
As a fan at the game I would be a little disappointed and expecting a curtain call.
It looked like players made their way back out, McLouth probably did give a curtain call
Only thing that would have made it better is if the 3rd base coach ran into the clubhouse too.
The guy hits a HR to win the game and gets nothing. Teams don't have to act like the Brewers did, but seeing the Rockies win numerous walk offs there's got to be nothing like jumping into a mob at home plate. He may never get another walk off shot and he was robbed of the celebration that deserves.
