Yanks are the most hated team. A lot of it is the success they've had, most of it is how ESPN shoves it down our throat so much more than other teams that have similarly successful years.

No team even comes remotely close to touching the Yankees when it comes to success. I'm not going to argue they're the most hated, because there's no doubt in my mind they are, but no team has had a fraction of the success the Yankees have.

Me personally, I despise the Cubs. Never understood the love affair, never will.

Hmm..maybe because this topic started with it? The subject says the most loathed team is not the Yanks. Therefore loathed teams are not off base in the topic. By the way, I hated the Cubs long before I was a Sox fan.
