By replacing Fontenot with Castro in the starting lineup the Cubs will be even more right handed - Fukudome will be the only LH batter.
Didn't Lou whine all over the place 2 years ago after the Cubs were swept by the D-Backs saying that they couldn't win in the post season because they didn't have enough LH hitting.
If you're going to trade someone, it should be Theriot. He is going to have the best value out of all those guys. You aren't going to get much of anything if you trade either Baker or Fontenot.
If the Cubs trade Theriot, IMO they are done. We don't even know what this Castro kid can do in the majors. He could be like the other 38 Cubs "super prospects" and not do anything. Felix Pie comes to mind...

The last big SS prospect for the Cubs that had been tearing it up in the minors was Ronny Cedeno. We all know how that turned out. Here's to hoping the Castro experiment goes MUCH better.
Starlin again!!!!!!! Holy cow, he flew around the bases
Sounds like a Fukudome type start. One that will get people expecting him to bat .500 with 200 RBI's on the season. Hopefully he can live up to the hype that he's sure to receive after this game...
Just needs to produce and I don't see how this is desperation. He was going to play this year no matter what. They must have felt he had shown enough progress. Desperation would be putting Vitters at 3rd because Aramis hasn't been hitting.
