Help settle a baseball bet
Here's something my brother-in-law and I were debating the other day...maybe someone can help:
Quite a few years ago, Sports Illustrated ran a picture of a MLB pitcher who could hold something like 8 baseballs in one hand. Does anyone remember who it was?
I can't find it anywhere online, and we differed as to who it was. The more I think about it, I think I may have been thinking of the wrong guy, but hopefully someone can set me straight.

It was pretty cool that he had six fingers, though.

Was it a cover photo or inside? Have you checked SI.com?

He had 6 fingers on both hands, and 6 toes on each foot. Whenever he would come into a game, Chip Caray would say "here comes 6-shooter!" Alfonseca would then proceed to blow the save.

Here's some help to focus the search; both under consideration are still playing today.
EDIT: Strike that, one retired in 2008.

Bobby Link Coachs Corner April 2010
"A local newspaper featured a photo of the new coach holding eight baseballs in one hand, a feat listed among the Guinness World Records."
My want to check Guinness to see who else is listed with this coach.

My want to check Guinness to see who else is listed with this coach. That's awesome, but he's not a MLB pitcher. That's pretty much how the pic in SI looked, though.
