Nothing official from the Cubs, but Bob and Len said that it had been reported that he had been signed today. Just let go by the Diamondbacks.

Comcast had a tweet about it. He'll join the team in Texas this week. I suppose if we are going to be bad, we might as well get worse with him back on the staff.
Ugh, Howry was good like... 5 years ago.
Gross. Dusty's parting gift in 2006 was murdering Howry and Eyre making them pitch every day even despite the Cubs being 25 games under .500. Surprisingly both of them were awful in 2007.
Gorzy is making a strong case to stay in the rotation tonight. I wonder who they will pull when Z is ready. I hope they don't get cute and pull Wells out. The Cubs have done stupider things, like move Z to the pen in the first place.
Gotta figure out how to score more runs first.

I still dont understand the Howry signing.He's looked maybe even worse than his stats show in the games I've seen of him this year. 90 mph straight fastballs nonstop.Just like he was when he was with us a few years ago.
