NBA Playoffs have been Bad
From the aspect that so many series have been blowouts.
LA Lakers and Boston Celtics continue to roll, many other series were just as bad. This is as many 4-0 series that I can remember occurring in one playoff season.
Atlanta, Charlotte, Utah, and San Antonio were eventually skunked. Miami and Chicago were almost skunked.
Cavs, Denver, Dallas, Portland and Oklahoma City did not make a Game 7.
Only Atlanta lost in a Game 7. This is bad for NBA ratings.
Expect Lakers to steamroll Celtics....20 games were not played because the series were routs.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: NBA Playoffs have been Bad
Not only have most of the series been blowouts but the games themselves have strangely been blowouts. Seems like every game is a 20-30 point beatdown.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

The conference finals have been disappointing. Boston and LA are practically playing each other already, neither team wants a game 5 in their current series.

Re: NBA Playoffs have been Bad
I have to agree that this season playoffs have been really bad. I keep hoping Phoenix will make it interesting....my wife and I were talking just last night how absolutely boring this seasons playoffs have been, with the exception of the Dallas/San Antonio series that was pretty competitive.
I think the Lakers will steamroll over the Celts too. They may have Kobe, but Gasol and the other role players on the Lakers really play good team ball. It really showcases how the NBA has become teams of individuals.
Also, I love BF twitters about the NBA coaches huddles this week...."play our game...." it really makes you wonder how much "coaching" NBA coaches actually do.

This has been one of the worst post seasons in a long, long time.

Re: NBA Playoffs have been Bad
you all are crazy for thinking LA will demolish the Celts. It's gotta go to game 7 have you been watching the celtics lately?? They're 4th best player from last year is now their stud, that says alot about how much better they've gotten. The big 3 haven't gotten any worse than one year ago.

You guys should just watch hockey.
The NHL playoffs have been great.

If I'm ever a ridiculous billionaire, I'm donating enough money for ISU to start a D1 hockey program. If ISU had a hockey team, I'd be a season ticket holder from Day 1.

i like hockey also but don't get carried away, it's way less popular than basketball. Basketball will always be the greatest sport ever made.
NBA > College bball > U.S. soccer > college football > mlb > nfl > nhl
