Re: Ok, I'm really sad now
He's had a good, full, healthy career with the same team the whole time, which doesn't happen very often anymore. I'd be satisfied with that at least.

See, that's not even funny. I saw that headline and my heart sank. I didn't realize it wasn't ISU related until I got into it.

Re: Ok, I'm really sad now
phew. At least he doesnt have to play the mets anymore. Anyone who names his kid Shea since he always owned the mets in Shea Stadium is welcome to retire in my books. Never wish the injuries though.

He sits every fourth game. His body is beat uup. He needed to go American league as a designated hitter for Yankees.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Can you add "MLB:" to the thread title?
I read the thread title and immediately thought that the Big 12 had fallen apart again...

My theory is that Chipper just can't afford going through 2 cans of chew a day.

I'll tell you what my parents told me about my favorite family dog. "He is going to live on a farm where he has lots of open fields to run in a play all day."

Easily one of my favorite players of all time. Has quietly put up some monster numbers over his career, will likely retire with 430+ HR, 1500+ RBI, and a .306 career avg.

No exaggeration here and anyone who knows me can back this up. Chipper is my favorite athlete of all time. No questions asked.
