France refuses to practice for match vs South Africa

KNYSNA, South Africa -- A draw, a loss, a tantrum and now chaos for Les Bleus.
France's World Cup team refused to train Sunday in protest of striker Nicolas Anelka's expulsion from the squad, prompted by a profanity-laced tirade against coach Raymond Domenech the day before.
The latest round of turbulence also led to the resignation of France team director Jean-Louis Valentin, who said he was fed up with the team.

Their coach Domenech is an idiot...he's lost the dressing room and has made some terrible management decisions, imo. Leaving Karim Benzema out of the squad, not playing Thierry Henry or Djibril Cisse (who can both make goals out of nowhere) when France was down to Mexico. He should have turned over the reigns to Laurent Blanc before the tourney began if you ask me. Anelka may be a whiner, but the manager has lost the confidence of the team, and that is when people start going off their rockers. The Domenech is trying to be bigger than the team by kicking Anelka out. He could have simply sent him the message by not playing him at all for the next game.

They cheated to beat my Irish, so they are getting what they deserve. Choke on it you cheese eating surrender monkeys!

I can't stand France and always make it a point to root for their opponent. I hope SA dominates them. They shouldn't have qualified for the Cup in the first place and Domenech is a bumbling idiot.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Domenech propose to his gf on live tv and get shot down?
