    Amazon.com: Kansas City Royals: 1985 World Series Collector's: Bret Saberhagen, George Brett: Movies & TV

    Yup, the 1985 World Series is being released on DVD on July 27. I have vague memories of this World Series as a child so I'm excited to see all 7 games again.

    Royals fans can also be happy about the new upgrade to the park. Man, it's gorgeous. Seats in the fountains. Open air concourse and an over the top kids area. A great ballpark made way better in my opinion. Can't wait for the day they compete again.

    Believe me, while I'm excited about the DVD release I am much, much, much more excited about the performance of Moustakas & Hosmer in the minors this year. For two guys who seemed like high school busts coming into this season to step up & do what they have done so far is a huge breath of fresh air when it comes to Royals player development. And that's not even addressing the number of hugely promising arms the Royals have in the minors right now.
