He keeps addressing the same issues with the reporters. It has to be depressing managing this team.
I can't for the life of me figure out why he still has Ramirez hitting cleanup when he is batting .179. He keeps moving anyone who has hit around and keeps the guys who are struggling in the same spots. Zero fun to watch this team play.

I was suppose to be at that game today, but very much don't really care at this point. It's such a sad sight to see for some good players on that team.
I too agree, keep pushing on those young guys. Maybe do a Arizona thing a few years back. There is talent there for once, trade some bigger guys and hopefully get some more talent as well. It might not happen in the next couple years, but there's potential there within the next 5.

I get so sick of the "I don't know, I wish I had the answer" he says to everything now. To me that's a lame answer and as a manager if you don't know what to do it's time to move on. Lou is too worried about upseting high paid veterans that he can't ever sit them for a younger guy that performs. Just look how long it took Colvin to get regular playing time finally!
Seriously, how can the Ricketts keep a team together that is 3-9 against the lowly Pirates this year? Time to blow up the team and start the youth movement. There is NO way you can justify keeping this thing together as it is now so the Cubs have to be sellers now you'd think. Anyone not named Castro, Colvin, Cashner, and Marmol they should be open to listen to offers for. If Lilly is somehow still on this team at the end of the month Hendry might as well be fired on the spot as there are all kinds of contenders that will be in the market for Lilly I'm sure and he should bring a decent return back.
