He can't and he won't. He wants to make himself the biggest story about the NFL going into the upcoming season. When any news source reports on the NFL whether it is tv, radio, or print he wants to be the first thing they mention every single time. The guy has an ego that won't quit. He also has been working out with an NFL quarterback nearly young enough to be his son.
Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com reports that Favre "has thrown with" Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell several times this offseason.
The fact that Favre has been working out at all serves only to reinforce the likelihood of a return for 2010. That he's working out with another NFL quarterback makes it even more likely
