Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
Several sources are saying LeBron to sign with the Heat to make the biggest Big Three ever in the NBA.

The reasoning for the death of the NBA...
With all these super stars alligning in one city how are we suppose to get our Magic-Bird match-ups, our MJ-Reggie Miller match-ups, and so-on. Now we get one good game. Lebron/Bosh/Wade-Kobe match-up.
Maybe it's because I'm a Bulls fan and just saw any chance at a championship game disappear for the next five years but the NBA is looking pretty grim.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
If he does go to the heat, Miami will win the title for the next 6-7 years miminum.
That team would be unbeatable.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
Those three would be unbeatable, but they still need 4 or 5 more to make a team. Beasley will be in Toronto and all they have left will be Chalmers. It will be interesting to see who they sign. They probably end up signing their three second round draft picks...Vernardo, Pittman and Butler who are all below average pros imo. But all in all they will be tough to stop. I am ****** too that the Bulls had 3-5 more rings in their future to only have it slip away. Love the Boozer signing, though.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
From an NBA hater -- if the NBA dies, I wouldn't miss it at all. If college BB dies, that's a totally different story. If the NBA season didn't last all the way to nearly MLB All-Star week, maybe I would follow.

You mean the way that Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, and Wilt Chamberlain did with the Lakers???
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
The rest of that team is going to be horrible. Like Temple football horrible. Every other player on that team will have to make below a million to even try to fill out a team. Could you imagine if someone got injured?
Yeah I think that the team will be formidable but they will definitely be beatable.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
Like he said, its because he's a Bulls fan. Three great players definitely makes you a contender, but it won't matter for the NBA as a whole. It would just mean that once again nobody will pay attention to Cleveland, that's it.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
But if LeBron wins a title nobody will care. He certainly won't get much credit since they conspired to be on the same team. I don't fault him for it at all.

Kobe vs. Lebron?
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
I actually think the team would be entertaining as hell. There still Boston's Big 4 and Kobe and Pau in LA to contend with. Durant and Westbrook will be very formidable as well. This isn't even close to the death of the NBA. If anything, random NBA haters might watch the NBA just to check up the trio.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
Thats what everyone said when Shaq Kobe Malone Payton were on the lakers (in before they were all soooo old) and that didnt work out very well. Im not toooo worried about it. The Lakers have Gasol who is better than Bosh, Kobe is better than Lebron or Dwade, and Ron Artest can play fantastic D on Lebron and its already proven that he is incapable of winning by himself. Not to mention the rest of the Lakers are head and shoulders above the Heat. Im actually glad, it will provide the Lols watching James walk off the court a loser again. Worst part is all the Lebron fanboys on this site now claiming the heat as their team. Ummm no you like the Cavs remember?

I can see this team not living up to the hype because of all of the over-blown egos. It seems cool now, but just wait. Hell, Kobe and Shaq couldn't play together. These three may be headed for a nightmare. Shaq's ego is about a fifth of the one LeBron is carrying around.

Isn't this the same guy that said Lebron to NY was a done deal last night?

If your talking about my post, I posted a link of Jared Dudley saying James was going to be a knick yet it was speculation.
Re: Death of the NBA... LeBron to Miami
Miami still has the other juggernaut in the state to get through - the Orlando Magic. Just because Miami got a lot better doesn't mean Orlando got any worse, and the Magic have made a habit of owning LeBron and DWade in recent years.
