Vikings really need Favre. If they don't make it deep into the play-offs, there's little chance that the team gets a new stadium. No new stadium = Zygi moves the team to L.A.

Unless they sign Tom Brady next off-season...

Not. Try 9-7 or 8-8, barely getting in or left just on the outside.

Vikings will struggle to get 9 or 10 wins.....they have a GAUNTLET of a schedule.

If the Vikings move to LA, I'm done with the NFL.

You should have been done as soon as you became a Vikings fan.

If this is true... which i think it's just the beginning... the north just got a lot easier for The Packers (maybe) who knows maybe under a year of favre TJack could have picked up a lot, hell maybe even sage can win the starting job...

I just got more excited about the upcoming season. We already know the Bears and Lions will be god awful, and the Packers were only a game behind the Favre-led Vikings last year.

    Re: Favre to Retire

Favre must be envious of LBJ.....
I believe when he really wants to retire, he'd announce it in the White House or during the Pro Football hall of Fame induction ceremony.
He'll be back when pre-season starts

    Re: Favre to Retire

Tough spot the Vikes are in now. Certainly not good in any way, shape or form they have to move forward with TJack or Sage at QB. I love Sage, but he simply is not consistent. TJack is about the same, just quicker in the pocket.

People can hate on Favre all they want - but the facts are the dude had one helluva career - better than 99% of guys that have ever strapped it up.
