    Who said monster?

You seem pretty riled up by this trade for it not mattering.

    Bitter Packer fans are funny.

Didn't realize I was supposed to be blown away by Berrian's 600 yards and 4 TD's last year on the Vikings magical run.

    And... Rice was drafted.

Berrian signed as a Free Agent.

Has Berrian even amassed 1,000 yards with the Vikings? I would hope so for the sake of fact that he signed a $43.4 million contract at an average of $7.23 million a year.

Last couple years it seemed like people felt like he was getting the shaft from the Packers because hes a legend. I know there were a lot of times when there was a defender with a totally free shot on him but they pulled up because he is Brett Favre.

But now hes back to the same girlish little tricks and takes the whole NFL for a ride like its HIS little game everybody has to play.. I think this year DL and LBs are gonna say enough is enough and really get after him and take some of those shots they pulled up on last year just like the Saints did in the playoffs.
I keep hearing the same thing. And Favre keeps playing. Keeps playing well. And wait...got further than the Packers last year

Sidney Rice's stats before Favre started throwing him the ball. Camarillo won't be as good obviously. He doesn't need to be though. He just needs to be a threat out there. He is a decent receiver who hasn't had a quality QB throwing him the ball yet.

That's not what you said buddy. He got traded this year. This year he was not the Dolphins #1 receiver

Vikings lost their #1 receiver for half the season. They bring a guy in to add some depth. This is not going to ruin their season. Haters gonna hate.

If you needed Camarillo in your roster I'm assuming you weren't winning your league.

Don't think it had anything to do with the fact those were his rookie and sophomore years?

Hey Clones85', I'll lay off giving you a hard time since this will be the Vikes last shot at a title for awhile.

Re: Vikings trade for a WR

The more that I look at this trade, the more I like it.

According to the Dolphins site, Camarillo last year had the most receptions without a drop in the NFL last season.

He is also going into his 2nd year following ACL surgery. The 1st year is often a work in progress as evidenced by his slow start last year. By the end of the year, he was getting back to his '08 production before before the injury ended his season. He should project to around 5+ catches per game and 11+ ypc. Over the season this comes out to 80 catches and 880 yds - not bad for a 3rd WR.

I'll be satisfied if he continues to earn the description of being a "poor man's Wes Walker". Walker plays for more of a passing team, but he still averages around the same 11 ypc.

Yet... STILL managed to throw for 4,400 yards and 30 TD's.

You think as a Vikings fan, you might want to worry about them fixing the line problems?

That was last year, and Rodgers still had the same # of TD's and Int's that Favre did
