My son played in a basketball tourney out in Waukee this winter and each of the grade schools where he played had hardwood floors in their gymnasium. VERY NICE. Beat the crapola out of the misc....

I have worked on/off in downtown Des Moines. Retail space in the skywalks has declined to the point of non-existence. I think Younker's pulling out was the doomsday sentence for any "real" retail...

Probaby paid attendance (tickets sold), not actual bodies in the stadium. I was unable to attend due to vehicle issues, but my brother stated the stadium looked pretty sparse.

Mike and Matt are both great guys (having worked with them in the Athletic Department). Unless things have changed since my time at ISU, Matt was dedicated full time to the strength and conditioning...
