I agree...but does the same player get more fame-building brand-enhancing notoriety by sitting on the bench at Kentucky or by starring at, say, Washington State?

Does anyone know the minutia of the "one and done" NBA rule? Does a player have to have a year of education after high school, or does he have to be on an NCAA roster? Can he play at a JUCO or D2/3...

Exactly; this does't change the calculus for UNC (they'll still want the best players they can get), but might change it a lot for a recruit as it could impact the number of minutes he'd play.
