I rooted for the Pacers in the mid-90s when they had Fred, Rick Smits, Reggie Miller, etc. They were a fun team to watch.
Since then, though, I haven't paid much attention to them.

Agreed. It's so much more entertaining when I'm not attached to either of the teams (although I generally support the underdog).

Oh boy, this should get good...

Oh, Earth/Geordi LaForge. Duh.

EFF THAT garbage. I'd rather see a kid play for the Russians than for the hoks. They're our rivals and our sworn enemies, folks...and you don't deal with your rivals by patting them on the head when...

Anyone know where I can find a group of hobbits to transport my Chizik coin across Middle Earth and cast it into the fires of Mount Doom?

Amen. How many of us would choose Iowa State if we were blessed with the athletic abilities of a guy like Lazard? There's no reason to think he or anyone else who grew up a Cyclone fan will always...

We've also rarely (if ever) had as much buzz around the program as we do now. Fred Hoiberg was/is a game changer.
Hell, the fact that we've got the #6 recruit in the country taking a long, hard...
-
Exactly; this does't change the calculus for UNC (they'll still want the best players they can get), but might change it a lot for a recruit as it could impact the number of minutes he'd play.
