    Receiver has been a really interesting spot for us in recent years. Some of our higher rated high school recruits it seems but just never developed to get on the field. Luckily the staff has done a good job the in the portal to supplement the position. Hoping Ngoyi will the one to break us out...

    If he finds the right program and right coach I still think he can be a key piece to a power 5 program. Obviously this will be 3rd school but reminds me of Gilbert coming here last year. If his attitude is right and buys into a role he’s got some major talent still.

    Officially the offseason, get ready for the Iowa state hype we haven’t experienced in awhile. Will have to go back and check but did 2000-2001 even have this with Fizer leaving. Will be fun.

    We will have an occasional one, most likely a big, but this is no longer a developmental program with the way college sports works in portal age. Get used to losing freshmen when staff recognizes they aren’t better than what we can get In portal.

    Good call, we’re talking about the returners in other threads but this is a new NCAA these days. For example no idea if he would consider it but imagine the interest a “6th man” that scores 26 in the sweet 16 will have to other collectives.

    You be frustrated we get to this point and hit a wall and also grateful we are here so fast from when he took over. Pay him, returning guards improve, add another big and shooter in portal, take the next step.

    Tj has consistently built a sweet 16 quality roster which is incredible for what he took over. That is the max of what we have had though, so excited to see if/when he can take the next step. I feel good moving forward.
