    I’m a little surprised my hometown hasn’t made an appearance. Or at least if it did I missed it. That said, some of the common ones here I either have a family connection to or spent considerable time in. They’re among my favorite towns in Iowa.

    Other than being too damn hot in the summer and not as pretty/interesting/exciting as a lot of the coastal cities it is fine. Its status as a punchline is overplayed, kinda like New Jersey.
