    I listened to Pete and Eric long before I went to a game or set foot on campus, I can switch back JW & Eric on the radio is how I take in most away games anyway.

    As much as I enjoy/enjoyed college sports I can live with out them just as easy. We will see if I survive the new pricing structure to attend events live.

    Large Area of Iowa in Extreme Drought.

    In my area it has definitely been drought. ponds and creeks either very low or dry, pastures done by July for the most part, this is the 1st time in 3 yrs I've seen water in the fields after a rain. But I'm not going to argue too much about it.

    2024 Iowa's Best Burger announced

    It's like the tenderloin award by the pork producers, it creates a little buzz for the industry and the restaurants, but yeah might not technically be the best burger it'll be a pretty darn good one. Brick City won a few yrs back I went for the burger, but now usually get the Nachos when I go...

    50+ yrs that's a long run, the Big Peach was really great on Sundays. Randy saw a lot of changes in that time. The Register has changed a lot. Hope he has a great retirement.
