Will be really darn interesting to see how all those pieces come together at Kansas. That is a LOT of players to keep happy. Only one basketball to go around. Something to be said about having 2-3 true role players in your rotation that dont expect to average 15 ppg.

Extremely hard to do. Especially if @Houston, @Kansas, @Baylor and @Arizona are on the schedule. Big 12 yet again will be loaded next year. Need to go undefeated in the noncon. If they go undefeated in Maui should have a shot.

    Marquette at home next year?

Kolek and Ighodaro are huge losses. Both All Big East caliber players. Not sure if they are bringing in any high profile transfers or freshman. If not, I would think Marquette takes a bit of a step back next year. Huge game as well as we are often going head-to-head w Marquette for recruits.

Zero clue what you are talking about. Just passing along what I heard. Blum word for word said "we arent Kansas" when referring to the William Kyle recruitment.

Listen to latest Williams/Blum podcast. Blum pretty much said "we arent Kansas". We arent paying for two starting 5s. Lipsey, Gilbert, Jones, Momcilovic, Jackson, Heise, Jefferson, Watson that is a big time 8 man rotation right there. That does not even include our three freshman. One of...

Does not sound like it was in the NIL budget...in addition I think they are content with the pieces in place.

So staff preferred Jefferson to Kyle? Im guessing maybe not apples to apples comparison. Maybe Jefferson at a requested $100,000 was a take over Kyle at a requested $300,000.

Uconns official roster lists him at 220. He doesnt weigh more than that just because you seem to think he does. Ill trust Uconns official roster. Would not be surprised whatsoever if Milan puts on 10 pounds of muscle this offseason. Point taken about them being bigger at other positions...

Where did I ever say that? And yes, Karaban and Momcilovic are somewhat similar players.

Yeah well Donovan Clingan and JT Rock were both similar darn recruits. Extremely similar actually. People just act like we are grasping at straws with the talent on our roster because we didnt land a top 5 transfer in the country. 6'11" 265 pound Dishon Jackson not the shot blocker Clingan...

Who started at the "4" for Uconn? Answer: Alex Karaban Alex Karaban is 6'8" and weighs 220 pounds. Milan Momvilovic is 6'8" and weighs 220 pounds. UConn seemed to find a way to do it...

Stumbled onto the Iowa State/South Dakota State highlights tonight. Really hope they sell out for a William Kyle comittment this weekend. That guy is an absolute stud. Need one more difference maker in the frontcourt for next year if we want to take that next step.

Hoping for good news this weekend from William Kyle III or Joshua Jefferson. Then sit on that last scholarship and hope something great falls in your lap late. Johnny Furphy type of situation coming available extremely late and we have an open scholarship.

    Tyrese Hunter Enters Portal Again

Incredible that Hunter team made the sweet 16. Hunter, Caleb Grill and Tristan Enaruna all saw major minutes in that Wisconsin game. Jaz Kunc was great but his game was a bit limited. George Conditt Jr. Brockington and Kalscheur. TJ has done an incredible job upgrading the overall talent on...

    Iowa State Transfer/Recruiting Class 2024

IMO if you can grab two high profile transfers every offseason capable of immediately getting important and consistent minutes in a 8-9 man rotation in the Big 12 your offseason was a success. Jackson and Heise are those guys. Like others have said any other big commitments I will consider a...

    "Meh" recruits vs Heralded Ones.

The Tyrese Haliburton vs Tyler Harris debate was an all-timer. Props to Coach Prohm for making the right decision on that one.

How did Creighton ever let Hunter Sallis out of Omaha? They have more money to spend on their basketball program than they know what to do with. Sallis has turned into an absolute stud at Wake Forest.

J'Vonne Hadley (Curtis Jones' cousin) to have zoom meetings with Iowa State & MSU this week

Also, the likes of Royce White and DeAndre Kane were incredible. Mariol Shayok was great. A couple things there: 1.) They only played one year as Cyclones. 2.) In the NIL age we ARE NOT GOING TO GET TRANSFERS OF THAT CALIBER. They cost a lot of $$$$! You want that caliber of player today...

J'Vonne Hadley (Curtis Jones' cousin) to have zoom meetings with Iowa State & MSU this week

You called Tamin Lipsey and Milan Momcilovic role players that are easily replaced by transfers. Might want to be careful who you call an idiot there. Name the 10 best Cyclones of the past ten or so years. How many of them were recruited to Iowa State as freshman? Melvin Ejim, Georges Niang...
