    Roster is very different than when he was recruited. He was brought in for 30+ minutes running point, defending and scoring a lot with a true freshman backup. Minutes and shot opportunities project to be much harder to come by in the guard court with the current roster.

    Roster Weights Updated

    Where Leo lines up in Fall camp probably has more to do with whether Tongamoa is able to join in August than anything. He's a project but should still be one of the top 12 guys on the DL. That is about the number that the staff would like to see get snaps to be able to sustain energy and effort.

    What a difference a week can make. With Baylor losing at Tech, wins this week at KState and at home over TCU likely puts ISU in a tie for 2nd in the conference with Baylor and WVU and puts at least 2 games between any other trailers, assuming chalk otherwise.

    That actually helps to illustrate my point. The ball thrown into the post ain't comin' back out. It's a hoop, a missed shot, free throws or a turnover. As a perimeter guy, you aren't dumping it in unless you feel good about getting the good results of the 4, and the free throw percentages out...

    I have not seen a defensive, Big Ten-type style like is his MO and background work in the Big 12. Eventually all defensive coaches figure out they need to outscore people, and if they can't, they disappear. Charlie Strong is a really good coach and recruiter who couldn't win in this league...
