I am leaving the house in a few min to head toward Chicago. I bought tix yesterday and was able to get 14th row, so I am guessing sales where not that great. I'll post of pix when I get back.
Only one of the two have actually made it to campus. Cody Elllis (the one that is advertised as the better of the two) is being held up by the NCAA clearinghouse.
Hey all,
I am an ISU fan in St. Louis and my love for college basketball led me to get SLU season tickets when Rick Majerus was hired.
As for the Billikens, I would say that most of the posts are pretty accurate. They only have one Junior and he is injuried for the entire season. Kwamain...
This is a great post. My questions are off topic, but I want to make sure my memory hasn't failed me. 2 questions.........
1. Keep in mind this was a fairly "smooth" coaching transition and Tim kept his hands in quite a bit player and recruiting wise to ease the transition
Didn't we lose...
The ability to sim games of historic teams is free. Like running the ISU/Hampton match up 5254 times in a row. But they have simulation games that do cost money. Hoops Dynasty is a college basketball game that is $13 per season and each season lasts about 2 months. It has pretty cool recruiting...
Send me a sitemail to Drichar138 on whatifsports if you want any tips once you get going. I've been playing since the inception of the game and I love it. It took me a while to work up to D1 and then eventually Iowa St. and I am not leaving until they fire me. (and that can happen in this game).
Yea, I am kind of a WIS lifer. I have a simleague baseball team that is in a progressive league. We are coming up on the 1994 season.
I just started in Hardball dynasty, but I really don't like it as much. Too involved.
Markshir,
Good to see a fellow HD'r. I coach Iowa State in Wooden world and I am all hyped because I am playing in the national championship game tonight vs. Iowa of all teams. Can you imagine if that happened in real life. Anyway my name on whatifsports is Drichar138.
Wanted to see if that...
Wow, ok, no responses, I am surprised by that, i have ran into a few Cyclone fans on that site and only assumed a few of them probably posted here. If you like sports simulations, you guys should check it out sometime.
Do any of you play the hoops dynasty game on Whatifsports.com? I first heard about the site back in 2002 when a bunch of ISU fans on a message board were simulating the ISU/Hampton match up over and over again.
One more thing, I still have the newspaper from Columbia that Saturday where they had a really cool feature on Troy and had a break down of each game and how many yards/TD's he had. Then they diagramed the "bread and butter" play they used for Troy and how his cut back ability made him so good.
I am from STL and was at the Mizzou game his soph year when he went over 2000 yards. I remember the Cyclones had the "Troy-O-Meter" (correction, I guess it was the yard-o-meter, my memory fades quickly) and after he went over 2000 yards, the then had a play where he lost 2 or 3 yards and they...
A couple interesting stats
With Jiri, Brakens and Clark on the team I would not have guessed that Diante Garrett would lead the team in FT attempts at this point with 27. He also leads the team with steals with 11. Is there a legit reason as to why he is not the starter?
Sean Haluska is...
