    While Wisky and Standford offenses looked impressive, it was their serve receive and back row defense and passing that were the huge difference makers. Wisky doesnt even run any back row attack.

    I think there are plenty of wives in the world that are not insecure who would be pissed if their husband bought them exercise equipment for a gift that wasn't something they had either expressed interest in.

    I think the biggest problem with the slippage starts and ends mostly with setter issues and recruiting. Imo looking back to the Hudson drama/letdown and Malloy transfer and not having an elite setter since Landwehr. Also, I think losing Nebraska from the Big 12 really hurt the league's...

    I'm happy for the team, but losing to TT and KU down the stretch should have put them out IMO. Those were questionable loses, and ISU had no real marquee win.

    The whole momentum changed on that submarine injury and hasn't swung back. I think if a game gets stopped for a potential injury, players should have to sit out more than just one play.

    Next year will be interesting to watch for sure. Bill says Fuerbach the surprise, and Emily contribute from the get go. Other than Scott, Wise and Joens, I'm not sure how the other say 90-100 minutes goes between the 7 other guards. Feels good to be in that position for a change.

    I'm really excited to see her too, and given her offers, her coach, what he said about her being able to be as good as Jackie, wow. My mom saw her play a couple times and she loved her game and court presence.

    4 guards. Wise and Joens will start. Clark would be competing with MEM, Rae, Donarski, Ryan, Frederick, Joens 2.0, and Fuerbach for playing time. Clark at ISU would have been awesome, but we will be just fine. Honestly, Donarski is the real deal.

    Missouri State was peaking and had a great coach, who btw beat Notre Dame last night.

    Rose, Monahan and Burich shot less than .300 last year, and ISU was sagging off them. BF has always been a stats guy and sagged his defenses off the poorer outside shooters. Those three accounted for half of Drakes 3s.

    I think if this game was played in 2 weeks from now it would have a different outcome. Team is still figuring out how to play together.

    Hard to beat a team who is 15/34 from 3. Dont know if I liked the sagging junk defense, left Drake too open. Not the 1st time we see bad 3 point shooters do well against ISU. Overall team looked a lot better so I think we will be okay.

    I think we have the scorers. It is getting into our offense and running offense to people in position to score without turnovers. Honestly I was really disappointed in Rae's play, and BF having her at the press conference was surprising to me.

    Volleyball RPI through 11/3

    We have to figure out how to get out of certain rotations where we have been giving up runs. That was the problem last night. Shouldn't give up multiple 3+ point runs.
