    The arrogance of them refusing to play us was maddening. Both programs needed a shot in the arm and playing each other would obviously be a huge event. But Iowa still refused. And it filtered down to most other sports too.

    I always saw that it was supposed to be five games too. But it looks like they will play six ACC games next year: Wake Forest, Clemson, Duke, Louisville, NC State, and Pitt.

    It looks like the B1G is still trying to squeeze ND with these latest rumors but I don't see ND caring at all about anyone else's timetable. For now their new TV contract is the only timetable that matters. If the B1G tries to force their hand in the short term I expect the answer to be no.

    The size differential is a problem. If they were 30,000 feet up this could be too big for Dubuque. I've already changed my mind a couple of times.

    Those would have to be Peosta and Epworth.

    This has turned out to be quite entertaining. There does seem to be an accurate placement and shape of the Mississippi to suggest this is Dubuque. And the bright lines of lights going east-west line up pretty well with highway 20.
