With Freyler, I think people place parallels between him and Eisworth.
Freyler could wind up having limitations at the next level, but I don’t think this is an Eisworth situation where he simply has no shot. Freyler is way more athletically gifted. Eisworth had some major limits there.
I mean that would mean Noel, Higgins, Freyler all go undrafted. And all of Onyedim, Orange, Cooper and Verdon either don’t declare or go undrafted.
I don’t see that being likely. Someone gets drafted next year.
I mean, look at Will McDonald last year. Or Breece the year before. It was no wonder they had excellent draft stock. Breece only wasn’t a first rounder due to the position.
I don’t really don’t really care either way about CC like some in here.
My celebration is more just about their fans Linsanity run finally being over, and no national title for them. Their women’s team will never come close to these levels again.
Curious if this is more “I’ve decided I’m out on Iowa State”
Or more a “with the guy who recruited me no longer on staff, I want to get a better relationship with the new staff replacing him before deciding if this is still the right place to land.”
He’s still continued to post on Twitter as if nothing happened. He’ll also block anyone who calls him out about it. Seems to be in complete denial and may be roid raging.
I saw a mock earlier this year that had Onyedim as a 1st rounder.
No idea what his true stock will be, but he could really surprise us. I’m really intrigued who all we’ll see enter the league over the next 1-2 years.
Rasul Douglas is an interesting player comp.
Pretty good review overall. My concern is how deep CB is in the draft this year. I hope he doesn’t get lost in the shuffle with all of the guy who boosted their stock at the combine.
Walter is a compiler. Tons of info, but really lazy analysis.
He didn’t even know who our Anthony Johnson was last year in the draft. He thought GB drafted the Virginia guy.
Sounds like he’ll participate in the pro day. Also, isn’t there a big 12 pro day this year?
I mean ultimately, it’s better than tearing your hammy up. Scouts aren’t dumb either, if his 40 time/workout info is out there, they won’t ignore it.
