Agree with the above on missed "long layups". These were usually long not because the offense or a pass put her in a bad position. They were long because she typically tried to beat her defender using her 1 offensive skill - speed - and if this didn't work, instead of aborting the drive and...

It might not work with her at PG for a top team, but I don't think you can rule out that she can develop into a PG in the future. In the little that she played it for ISU she brought an entirely new element to the offense...putting the defense on the defensive at the very beginning of the...

Vroom My advice is, go to a program with a great coach, but not a ton of elite players, although a competitive team thas has top teams on its schedule...if such a school exists. She needs to develop, not compete for minutes on a packed team.

Maybe not congratulations, but he could post a note thanking her for contributing to the team. Since he started her all/most of the year he obviously was pleased with her contributions. Should saying/not saying thanks depend on where she transfers? I don't see why it should.

I'm not sure you always need to hear what was said. I think you can often "see" the tone with which a message is delivered by the body language, although of course the best thing is to hear from people more in the know that are closer to the team.

Love watching her play. The thing that stands out, as a previous poster said: Her fearlessness. Also agree that some of coach's outbursts at her seemed intended to demean, rather than the desired, "I'm yelling at you because because I want to make you a better player, and because we're seeking...
