    I'm sure there's way more that goes into it logistically than I can understand, but if We Will ever gets the frozen pizzas and Ames Lager up in the Cedar Falls area before football season, I'd probably buy so many that the coaches could get whoever they wanted in the portal

    Only way I would want Luzardo at this point is if it’s relatively cheap (which it won’t be). There is enough starting pitching in the organization to not give up a ton for a good, not great addition. I’d be ok with them parting ways with some talent for bullpen help though

    Was at the I Cubs game today. Horton certainly has the stuff but couldn’t find the strike zone today multiple times. Looking at his stats, should just be a one off as he only had two total walks in his four April starts. Rest of the pitchers today were… woof. Walk after walk and hit after hit.

    Yeah I watch a disgusting amount of Cubs games but don’t watch a ton of MLB outside of that. After watching Rizzo for 10 years, I just assumed picking a ball at first was just really easy for MLB first basemen. Have learned in the post Rizzo era that is most definitely not the case lol
