    Any WWII buffs out there?

    The World War II in Color series on the Military Channel was pretty cool, not because it was in color, but because it was pretty comprehensive in its coverage. It did a good job of "filling in the blanks" around the more well-known events covered by Band of Brothers and the Pacific series.

    Definitely exciting if this is really going ahead. Heck, I'm excited just to see the first rendering of the new scoreboard they plan to put up. Perhaps we can expect to hear some real details released in conjunction with the kick-off of season ticket sales, to help drum up interest?

    MBB - 8 pm tipoffs

    We've passed on a couple of games now partially due to the later starts. My wife doesn't want to get home that late on a work night, and it's a bit late for my step-son on a school night, too. One hour does make a difference sometimes.

    Wow, what a game. I was ticked half the time with some of our play, but a win's a win -- and a win in Hawkeye central is always golden. Officiating sucked big time, but bad calls went both ways. By the way, I think I'm going to learn to hate Frannie Mac.

    I'm not quite as pessimistic as the OP, but I count on us struggling over in IC. Actually, I count on us struggling on the road all season. I'm not going to pencil in a 'L' for tomorrow yet, but I'm only expecting on a close win at the very best.

    I'm with you. I don't want to get used to this, since we haven't played anybody that we know is good. But I'm starting to think that the team will be fun to watch -- win or lose.
