    Be careful when choosing personalized plates

    I saw one that made me chuckle today. Because of the limited number of characters, they omitted the space between two words. The placement of that space, however, is critical to the meaning of the slogan. It read: HAWKSTD Choose carefully, my friends.

    Iowa State Fair

    Just a friendly reminder to stop by the ISU booth at the fair if you have the opportunity. They have posters and pocket schedules as well as temporary tattoos for the kids. The merchandise is also worth checking out. There is a better selection and there are some cool items I hadn't seen before.
