    Full game replay?

Anybody know where I can watch a full game replay? I checked the CBS and NCAA iPhone apps and websites, they all just show highlights. I want a full replay so I can study the second half and I didn't DVR it (dumb). Just booked all my tickets for MSG!

Niang National Player of the Week (Andy Katz ESPN)

    ***SOUTH DAKOTA***

I like the emergence of Madison Beier in this game, she would provide much needed depth in the post to complement Hallie. She has so much more confidence than last year, it's totally visible.

Is this the Sweet 16/Elite 8 WBB team we've been waiting for?

I've been pondering the Twister Sisters lately and it's hard to get too excited about pummeling a vastly inferior and overmatched Drake team (up by 40 at halftime? c'mon folks). Yes Prins is playing the best of her life (big congrats to her). Pop is All American. Moody is All Conference. The...

Manning Out for Season - ACL

The real women's basketball fans knew immediately this Manning was the OU recruit that Sherrie Coale stole from Coach BF right out of Iowa (not a famous professionall football quarterback). :-) Thank God ISU hasn't had the ACL bug bite them for several years. OU has lost 4 players to the...

Major NCAA investigation on Baylor WBB recruiting

It's a long article but the bottom line it seems is that Kim Mulkey will be punished by losing two 2013 scholarships and will not be allowed to recruit off campus this summer. Lots of excessive and apparently out-of-bounds texts and phone calls when recruiting Griner.... Baylor Bears teams...

    Green Bay WBB

Green Bay is short, basically they're playing five people all around 6'. The 6'3" girl sits on the bench. So our three posts Hallie Pop Anna could have a hay-day if they get their minds set. I would argue that our post game going into this game is stronger than the post game we had last time we...

    Post Defense

This aspect of BF's strategy always confuses me. He gives up career high point nights to Griner and Childs and a few years ago to that annoying smug blond center from Stanford who dropped 46 points --- we defend from behind and it's basically a green light for the opposing post player to do...

    3/5 Bracketology

You might finally have your dream come true of ISU playing Pat Summit! Probably in her last tourney games ever. Somewhat in shock still that 9 losses and we still finished 4th in the Big 12. Wow. Also shocked to see Texas beat A&M and KU beat OU on the last day of the season, so 2nd place in...

ISU has 4 recruits on Register's GBB All-State Teams.

... And yet we finished 4th in the Big 12.

    Iowa State dismantles Kansas State

Yes, Creme's comment about K-State is off base because he doesn't like the Big 12. K-State's very high RPI is actually justifiable. They opened up Big 12 play by beating TAMU (#7), and during Big 12 they swept Kansas twice (#52), swept Texas twice (#54), and swept OkSt twice (#53). In...

ESPN Voepel: Big12 WBB coaches on the hot seat

Pretty extensive article, love that Voepel is such a Big 12 die-hard and as a result ESPN always dedicates good editorial to our conference. So proud of our Cyclones for turning around the season and NOT being on the bubble.... Trio of Big 12 coaches feeling the heat - ESPN

    ***WBB Gameday: KU at ISU***

Probably the two most crucial games of the whole season right here this week. Gotta get these two to dance. I flew back from New York to see these games -- little did I know when I bought my ticket many months ago how important they would be. BF's teams are measured by their success in the NCAAs.

    Women's Bracketology 2/13

Also interesting to note that Iowa has won five in a row and is one of the last teams in as an 11-seed playing 6-seed OU. ISU is #49 RPI and the Hawkeyes are #50, so our win over them is looking better.

    Women's Bracketology 2/13

I actually like the 11-seed in Ames & Des Moines. Those are some winnable games. WAY better than being an 8-9 seed against #1. Also note that Oklahoma State is the first team out of the tourney, so our remaining game with them in Stillwater on Feb 23 could be pivotal. Our remaining 4 home...

WBB RPI Update, on the Up & Up!

Our RPI keeps rising and we have to get a few more key wins to assure ourselves of an NCAA berth. We need at least 8 wins in conference, preferably 9 or 10 wins, and an RPI in the Top 40. Here is where we stand in our progress, we were: #90 before the Texas Tech win #70 before the Kansas...

    ***WBB Gameday: ISU at Mizzou***

Well this should be a victory but Mizzou has played a lot of teams close at home, including Oklahoma by 3 points. Looking forward to our team getting to 5-6 in conference and the chance to pull even at .500 this weekend. Next week we are at home against Kansas and Oklahoma, both would be big...

    Women's Bracketology 2/6

Ha - I literally just logged in to update everybody on our newly minted Top-50 RPI ranking, but I see you beat me to it! I agree REaltimRPI's prediction we'll lose all our road games is wrong. We beat K-State on the road and we sure as heck aren't going to lose to Mizzou on the road. I...
