Politics threads

I thought they weren't supposed to be on the front page like the in state threads. Am I wrong?

Apperently that has been changed back to them showing up on the front page (along with the Gaming and Hobbies forum)

There has been a coresponding drop in productivity associated with this change, as before I would have to very bored or have a specific topic I wanted to discuss to wander in to the forum, where now opperunities to harass both political parties present themselves without my inquiry.

That said... it's probably also friendlier in the politics threads than some of the sports related threads we've had recently

It should be fixed today. We've been doing all sorts of updates and it has everything jacked up.

Did this ever get resolved? I am still seeing the politics threads. I checked in my CPanel and verified that I wasn't a member of the group. It also let me post in there (before I realized it was a politics thread).

No idea what you're talking about man... the Politics Forum reverted back to being "The Cave" a while ago...

I know. I kind of liked seeing them. It made participating more fun.

If I don't see it, I tend not to think about that forum.

The thread you posted in was originally misplaced in the offtopic forum and you likely followed a link from there to the thread after it was moved.

Id still like the option to have politics and in-state rivals be on my front page. I know that most dont like either, but is there a way where the user can choose what forms appear/dont appear on their front page?

I don't know what's going on with my settings then, because I am not a member of the politics group but still see it. I tried joining and then leaving to see if that would help, but it hasn't worked. Any suggestions? Am I the only one that this is happening to?

I still see the Politic threads even though I don't have them selected, it got messed up a month or 2 back. Hopefully the new server will fix this?

Guess you and I are in this together. I also tried to unjoin the In-State Rivals forum and it wouldn't let me do that either. SHows up as "not a member", but I can still see the posts and whatnot.
