Browser constantly freezing up

Every time I visit CF these days, I get about 4 or 5 clicks into the site and my browser just freezes, and I get the (Not Responding) at the top of the page. Even when I let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes, nothing happens. My work computer was just recently switched to Windows 7, could that be causing the issue? I don't remember having this problem prior to that.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it, because CF is virtually unreadable for me now. And I don't think I have to tell anyone here how much that sucks. TIA.

try and update your flash. I was having problems until i updated flash.

I've been having problems with the bottom advertisments at home with Firefox 4 freezing up. Flash is up-to-date.

Lukily, my company blocks the ads, so I don't notice any problems in IE at work.

Either way, the multimedia ads at the bottom of the page are a problem.

Yeah it's the ads. It has happened to me too (firefox 4).
