The recent changes have resulted in a really big-time increase in straggling threads. By this I mean new message threads that really should have been part of another thread. Your 'monetary credit' system encourages this, so I knew this would happen, and it makes things really confusing.
Just to pull a random example, the "Correction, Coach Hawkins:" thread on the Football message board. This message makes absolutely no sense by itself, and needed to be posted in the context of another thread. But the poster obviously decided to make it a new thread to get the extra 'monetary credit'.
While the new credit system is a huge hit, it's not without fault and it will be tweaked and adjusted as we move forward. I know the thread rating has become useless and I'll try to find the best solution. For now, I removed the thread rating from showing on the front-page and we can decide what else to do. I am also reducing the number of credits from 10 to 1 for rating a thread.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Darn you, Jeremy! How am I going to fund my CyBookie addiction now?!!
