I didn't say it wouldn't be reviewed. Please re-read my post. I just said that the mod would know that you reported him/her and would not be happy.

See, us member folk don't know when we have been reported unless it is taken to a higher level. If we report a mod, the mod knows that he/she was reported even if it doesn't go to a higher level.

If you are worried about that, then PM or email Jeremy.

It was not a shot at the mods. Just a simple fact that if you wish to report a mod, you will need to be careful in how it happens and know what happens. (ie all mods can see reported posts)

Sorry it came out that way, but I did not know about it and was dinged by it. I thought that others might want to know as well.

Thanks!

Re: The prevailing ideal

It does go to a higher level - I read every reported post. You may think that the mods are all best friends hooked at the waist that never leave each other's side and pats each other on the back after each post but the truth is that we hardly know each other off the site and we all volunteer to work for the site, not for each other. It's comments like that which make moderators mad because it gives the impression that they are just friends wasting time on a website when in fact we're all die-hard Cyclones trying to help everybody have a place to share their opinions. Just because you may or may not agree with all the moderator decisions doesn't mean you are correct. You've reported numerous posts and I always personally researched the problem and PM'd you with an explanation. I've tried always watching things very closely to make sure that there is no division between mods and members and I think most would agree that things are usually fair. Obviously those that get moderated are never going to agree with the actions taken but that's the nature of the beast and there's not much I can do about that. If you break the rules, you break the rules. I can only defend somebody when they've been moderated wrongly or unjustly and it's brought to my attention.

If anybody has ANY problems, I've always had an open door policy and always will. Please contact me directly via PM or email if you have problems with something on the site or with a moderator's actions - I will always research and respond to every situation.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
