Help: CF "Did You Know?" - 8/4/08

Private messages are a fast way for CF users to communicate with each other.

There are several ways to send a Private Message:

If you are in a thread and see the name of a user to whom you would like to send a PM, click on their name and select Send a Private Message to [username].
Go to a user's Profile page and click Send Message under their username. Again select Send a Private Message to [username].
If a user is on your Buddy List, click the PM button off to the right of their name.

Yeah, I think you've every way this past week. Good thing the capacity has gone up.

I always make sure to unclick "Save to Sent Items" or whatever to keep it from using that capacity...

I'm hopeful Jeremy can modify the PM system to not use the quoting function, but treat it like an actual e-mail where the chain is automatically placed at the bottom - outside of quotes.

Makes the history so much easier to read. :)

That's a good call!!! I know that sometimes I find it easier to type my replies up at the top of a message rather than at the bottom to do this manually, but it's still a lot of quoting!
