Sometimes we all at some point or other take a post personally(I have) and respond back in kind. That's when things can get out of hand and other posters will chime in and it just get worse.
One thing I try to do if that is happening particulary if you're not clear what the other person is getting at is send them an e-mail directly. It's a great way to get an issue resolved and the privacy of the exchange seems to help a lot.
I know it's a public forum meant for free thinking people to exchange ideas but sometimes we need to use a little more common sense before posting on the board for everyone to read.
