Total Users online?

I know in the past, this site hasn't discussed publicly how many users were online at a given time, but I am wondering what sort of site traffic is going to be going on today?

As message boards go, this one is one of the better looking/ease of use ones I have seen. We have the inside information on HB, my guess is we have thousands on here today.

So did we set a record and if so what is it?

Numbers are not currently talked about. The new owners may or may not change this.

I would put my bet down that CF will break a record.

I personally like the idea of knowing how many people are on. As much traffic that flows through here on a regular day, you wouldn't think that it would be a publicly bad thing to do. JMO

I agree - it would be fun for users to be able to guage how much the site popularity has grown, how big the impact of specific events has on the fan base, etc.

Speaking of number of users, for the past 5 minutes or so I've gotten a message that said site bandwidth exceeded. It was like the end of the world, I mean what else will distract me from school if the site is over bandwidth? So glad its back now.
