Someone mentioned in a different thread that they thought CF was the biggest site based in Iowa. I was just wondering if this was true? If it's not, what is the biggest website based in Iowa?

Actually, all three of those sound like statistics that would answer the question that's being asked to me. Are those statistics available for CF?

I'm sure the owners have them, you can see the number of registered viewers by looking up the members list on this site (about 10k).

I'd bet it has the largest number of registered users, and may get the most page views\hits since people dont just click once or twice when they come to CF, but in terms of unique visitors i'd bet that some local news website probably has the lead on that.

Though if i wanted to be an ***, CF is hosted by Simplehelix, which i believe has its datacenter in Atlanta, GA.

In terms of page views, I'd be willing to bet it's at the top, and damn near. I've seen the statistics (we sponsor the site), but I'll let someone with the authority to share them do that.

I would put down a hefty bet that the Des Moines Register blows CF's statistics out of the water in terms of unique visitors, and probably also page views.

a lot of that probably has to do with the fact that they use their sites pretty much exclusively to discuss sports where on CF you also get the benefit of helping some guy find his cat and talking some guy down from his break-up of 6 months. I mean that is worth 10,000 page views alone. I bet if we took out ISU sports CF would still rank in the top 30,000. We could rename it "Dear Fanatics,"
