Blog characters

I'm just curious if there is a way to get around the character count on posting on my blogs, and commenting on other's blogs? It seems as though I have seen much longer posts, but I am way too longwinded to get my full point in, and it always says I am over, even with a message as short as this.

Yeah I agree, 500 characters is not much. Can hardly get 3 sentences in without going over sometimes. 750 would probably be enough to get a point accross.

Senior bloggers should have a higher limit at 4000 characters. That will allow them to elaborate properly about the current events of the day. Let them put some meat on the bones. Speaking of meat, the Spartans may become dead meat next week if they keep flaunting the fat finger.
