What do you do for an encore? Do you go for throat and post something so heinous, so diabolically witty, that I couldn't possible be able to respond? You know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about...
STINK LINES!!!

No, you wouldn't dare! You wouldn't dare lay down that trump card to beat all trump cards! That would destroy me. I'd never be able to post here again! Please, I beg you. Don't post stink lines. I promise, I'll never make fun of you or your tiny hands again. You have my word! Just please have mercy!!!

I guess this is kind of my point. There are some that never speak when we are winning or participate in those type of threads.
Is there some way a ratings system could work where posters can give enough negative rep so the word Troll goes after the posters moniker?

i really wish we had negative rep back. take away comments for negative rep if you must (i think this was the original thing, people saying harsh comments in their neg rep)

What is stopping people from using negative comments with the current rep? Actually, besides what appears to be a quick way to PM, what is the point of the good rep? Without bad rep, is there a thing as good rep? at the very least the rep is highly inflated without the presence of bad rep. Today I saw a lot of hok trolls with a lot of rep. Apparently their troll buddies are quite generous on CF.

My favorite Blink-182 song is:
**** **** **** **** ****-sucker mother-****** **** fart turd and ****.
Edit: Not bad mods... not bad at all.

I'll see if I can help clear this up a bit. In the good o' days we had the option to give positive rep and negative rep. If you notice most everyone has full green bars of rep. Back then you could lose green bars and actually go the other way into the red.
Many hatted it and saw it as an attack but it really kept several people in check as they didn't want to be in the red or lose their green bars.
Then again many trolls loved to fill up the red bars as fast as they could.
There was also a time when the negative rep was anonymous - you wouldn't know who dinged you (those were fun days!). Also a time when it would say who dinged you even if they didn't leave a comment.
I just miss the fun it was to have the option of going either way with the rep
Re: REMINDER/WARNING - on site rule
Speaking of neg rep, another site I am on has neg rep. It works like this though: When you neg someone, you also lose a point, so it hurts you as well and you need to be committed. I sure as hell would go for that.

As long as they lose whatever amount of rep they would have gotten had I given them positive rep and I only lose one rep point, I say go for it. :biglaugh:
