Official CycloneFanatic Site Issues Thread

Please post all new error messages or link issues in this thread for the time being so I can track things down quickly.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Jeremy,

A good change!

I have not been able to get my Qwest DSL to connect to CF at home for several months.

Tonight it worked! I do not know if it is because you changed server sites, but I am just glad it works at home now!

I'm glad you were able to connect again on Qwest, that was one of the intended benefits of switching hosts, I just wish I was able to switch a little more on my terms

Working great with Qwest here, too, when before it gave me all kinds of problems. Glad the switch was made, but I will never get the 5 hours back from Qwest Support I spent for them to tell me they really couldn't do anything!

Just glad everybody can get back on. Stupid tech support anyways.

Not a fan of tech support either. Kind of unrelated, but about a year ago I was running McAfee Security Center on my computer (it was a wonderful antivirus program). It then downloaded the latest version of Security Center, restarted the computer, and locked me off the internet. 3 hours and $500 later (McAfee charges for tech support phone calls), all they could tell me is I had some other brand of antivirus, antispyware, or adblocker on my computer and that McAfee Security Center will not run properly if you have any other protection on your computer. WHY THE HELL WOULD A SOFTWARE COMPANY CREATE A PROGRAM SO HOSTILE THAT IT WILL LITERALLY LOCK YOUR COMPUTER DOWN IF YOU HAVE A COMPETITOR'S PROGRAM ALSO RUNNING ON IT??? Maybe I answered my own question. I'm just glad they refunded me my money.

You might need to check your web browser. Does it clear your cookies/internet history every time you close out of the browser? If it does CycloneFanatic will be unable to remember you because the browser keeps clearing it's memory.

When I log on, the big newsbreak story promised last week does not pop on. I think it is just technical difficulties.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Well can't you take the hint, we're trying to keep you out I'll make sure none of the cookie settings got thrown out of whack.

I just had to get you points for that.
